The NSW Office of Sport will hold an information session on January 20 regarding the $4 million Surf Club Facility Program recently announced by NSW Acting NSW Sports Minister, the Hon Geoff Lee.

Surf Life Saving NSW has partnered with the NSW Government over many years to make available the Surf Club Facility Grant for all SLSNSW clubs.

The NSW Government recognises the importance of well maintained Surf Club facilities to ensure our clubs are both well positioned to maintain our essential patrol activity at our beaches and to attract and retain members, so vital for the healthy future of our movement.

Maximum funding in any one Surf Club Facility Grant application is $350,000, with a maximum of $500,000 over the course of the program from 2017/18 to present.  Applications will close on 3 March.

To assist clubs with their preparation of grant applications and to help with understanding of the scope and conditions of the Grant, Karen Jones (CEO Office of Sport) will be hosting a webinar.

Date:  Wednesday 20 January

Time: 6.00pm - 6.30pm

You can register your interest in attending the Surf Club Facility Program information session on the NSW Office of Sport website

Anyone interested should RSVP. Surf Life Saving NSW will send to you log-in details for the webinar closer to the date.

This is an excellent opportunity for Club executives, fund raising officers or building committee members to gain a better understanding of the application process of the grant.

There is no limit to the number of attendees per club.
