The Central Coast based club brought a squad of about 16 to Blacksmiths Beach with the athletes using the chance to get some first-class competition ahead of next month’s Australian Titles.
North Entrance also claimed silver in the Male 130 Ski Year Relay with the team counting among its number Justin Dean a former Australian Kayaking representative.
Peter Laing picked up an individual bronze in Men’s 50-54 Ski Race and while he was denied the chance to win his third straight gold in the event he was pleased with his performance.
After four years of having the State Championships in their own Branch At Ocean Beach – Umina , the North Entrance contingent were happy to be on the road once more.
“We absolutely love coming up here to Blacksmiths and it’s great to be on tour again,” said Steve Allan.
“It’s an absolutely fantastic beach and we’ve had a lot of fun testing ourselves in the conditions that we’ve experienced over the last couple of days,” he said.
