In the September edition, we congratulate the finalists and award recipients from the 2021 SLSNSW Awards of Excellence, announce the expansion of our UAV program in partnership with the Department of Primary Industries and celebrate the start of the new patrol season by welcoming our surf lifesavers back to the beach.
We reflect on the season that was in the 2021 NSW Coastal Safety Report and the incredible efforts of our members who completed 663,078 volunteer patrol hours, and highlight outstanding rescues carried out by some of our youngest members.
We would like to thank our members and supporters for helping us keep our beaches safe.
