In this edition we feature the inaugural Surf Life Saving Day event at NSW Parliament House, the 50th anniversary of the iconic Rubber Duckie (IRB) and the launch of our new podcast series. We celebrate the achievements of our wonderful volunteer surf lifesavers who were recently nominated for Australian of the Year Awards and we congratulate five new life members. We also look at the national award-wining rescues, performed by a group of off-duty lifesavers, at Seven Mile Beach near Forster.
