Travel and Accommodation Subsidies

Driving

Members driving to the conference from MNC, LNC, HUN, CC, SNB, SYD, ILL, SC and FSC will be able to claim mileage subsidies (capped amounts dependent on location) by completing an expense claim form with the kilometres travelled.  These subsidy amounts are based on average mileage distances, and are as follows:

• MNC: $450 (fuel)
• LNC: $420 (fuel)
• HUN: $320 (fuel)
• CC: $195 (fuel)
• SNB: $80 (fuel)
• SYD: $55 (fuel)
• ILL: $120 (fuel)
• SC: $240 (fuel)
• FSC: $500 (fuel)

Parking will be available at the Stamford Plaza Hotel throughout the conference and will also be covered for the duration of your stay.  Please bring your parking ticket to the registration desk for validation prior to your departure.

Flights

Flights for members travelling to and from the conference will be subsidised.  Flights will need to be booked by the individual/club, and an expense claim form submitted (with proof of purchase / ticket receipt).  Subsidy figures for each member are listed below and are based on average airline ticket prices.  Please note that ticket prices traditionally rise as the departure date nears.  

• FNC: $350 (flights)
• NC: $400 (flights)
• MNC: $450 (flights)
• LNC $450 (flights)
• FSC: $550 (flights)

Airport Transfers

Members flying to the conference can arrive on Friday 26^th July to ensure that they are ready for the conference start on Saturday morning. Members who choose to fly on Saturday 27th July will need to arrive prior to 8.30am as conference registration will take place between 8.30-9.30am.

The conference will end with lunch on Sunday 28th July, and we recommend that return flights depart any time after 2.00pm.

This venue is a 1km walk or a short Taxi/Uber ride from the airport, and reimbursements for transfers will be available. Please note there is no shuttle bus transfer.

Accommodation

Due to the recent availability of flights and ongoing flight delays and cancellations to and from Sydney, the SLSNSW Board has approved for accommodation to be offered to members flying into Sydney for the conference on both Friday and Saturday.

Friday and Saturday night accommodation is available to members from FNC, NC, MNC, LNC, HUN, SC and FSC.

Saturday night accommodation is available to members from CC and ILL.

Members from Sydney/Sydney Northern Beaches can choose to join the rest of the participants for breakfast on the Sunday morning from 7:00am.
