Northern Roving Patrol Leading the Way

The incredible efforts of a select group of volunteers, known as the North Coast Roving Patrol team, have helped the regional Branch to maintain a high standard of lifesaving on local beaches throughout the season. 

Woonona Member’s Lifesaving Efforts Way Beyond the Flags

There may not be a truer definition of ‘beyond the flags’ lifesaving than that of Greg Tuchin’s first aid assistance rendered some 8,000km from his home club of Woonona SLSC and, perhaps more interestingly, more than 30 degrees Celsius below what he’s used to in the peak of summer. 

National Medals for Dedicated NSW Lifesavers

Surf Life Saving NSW would like to congratulate a host of surf lifesavers who have been awarded the National Medal, as well as Second Clasps and First Clasps for their sustained service and commitment to Surf Life Saving.

Top Gongs for NSW Volunteers at National Awards

NSW members and clubs have once again shone on the national stage, winning several awards at the 2024 Surf Life Saving Australia Awards of Excellence – including a Central Coast Patrol Captain earning the state an incredible third straight DHL Surf Lifesaver of the Year title.
