Established in 1920, ClubsNSW is the peak body for the NSW club industry. ClubsNSW under the community focused ‘Your local club’ branding, exists to make a growing contribution to the NSW community and support local communities.

By Partnering with Surf Life Saving NSW, ‘Your local club’ is the naming rights partner of the NSW State Championships and supporting partner of the NSW Country Championships providing the opportunity for individuals to participate in an active and healthy lifestyle and our lifesavers to hone their vital lifesaving skills.

As a supporting partner of the Beach to Bush program, Your local club also assists in enabling the education of rural and regional communities in beach and water safety.

Qantas, Australia’s national carrier, is proud to be embarking on a monumental new partnership with Surf Life Saving Australia to promote water safety ahead of summer and support their mission to achieve zero preventable deaths in Australian waters.

At the heart of the partnership is a new online training tool called the Beach Passport. Launching in time for the peak summer holiday period, Beach Passport provides the public with basic water safety knowledge. It will be free and available to every Australian citizen and visitor.

The partnership builds on more than seven years of support from the Flying Kangaroo to Surf Life Saving through its ‘Side-by-Side’ employee grants program.

Westpac has been proudly partnering with Surf Life Saving Australia (SLSA) for more than four decades since the inception of the Westpac Lifesaver Rescue Helicopter Service (WLRHS) in 1973. It is one of the longest corporate community partnerships in Australia.

The WLRHS is a vital extension of SLSA’s front line services operating in Southern NSW, QLD, VIC, WA, SA and a rescue boat in the NT. The national operation also incorporates the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Northern NSW and Tasmanian Services.

Over 300 rescue professionals and volunteers make up the national operation, which has 15 helicopters and one rescue boat across 13 bases. During summer, the Service covers over 84% of the Australian population and to date, the WLRHS has performed more than 80,000 missions across Australia, with no one ever having to pay to be rescued.

In 2011 Dulux became a national partner of Surf Life Saving Australia with the aim to help protect and preserve some of Australia’s most important and iconic buildings – its Surf Life Saving Clubs – from some of the world’s harshest weather conditions. Through this partnership Dulux has implemented the Surf Club Project which enables every Surf Club in NSW and throughout Australia to be repainted with Dulux interior and exterior paint.
