For the very first time, we’ve made our surf lifesavers' training resource available to the community, allowing you to learn life saving CPR skills at home.

The 2021 Junior Lifesavers of the Year from every Surf Life Saving Branch in NSW have come together in Sydney this week to challenge themselves and learn new skills. Of the 22 young participants, the overall NSW Junior Lifesaver of the Year (JLOTY) award was presented to Taylah Moffitt from Kempsey Crescent Head SLSC and Vivek Sirkari from Warriewood SLSC.

The 2021 NSW Surf Life Saving Championships, proudly supported by Your local club, concluded with the high flying action of the surf boat competition, which was rescheduled after floods forced the event to be cancelled in March.

Over 25,000 kids between 5-13 years took part in the Nippers junior activities program this season in NSW. They learn about surf safety, gain skills in the water as well as participate in competition with many also representing their clubs in local, branch and state championship events.
