#FLAGSUP // Flags are up and the patrol season has begun!

The NSW Premier @chrisminnsmp, Emergency Services Minister @jihaddib_mp and Sport Minister @stevekampermp joined lifesavers and nippers at @maroubra_slsc this morning to raise the first flags of the season and announce an extra $23m in funding over 4 years to support our volunteers.

It’s going to be a hot summer so please stay safe and always swim between the red and yellow flags.

#RWC // Ahead of the new season our jetskis hit the water in Sydney this past weekend for a Women's Development Clinic run through @sls_sydney.

The program aims to promote, recruit and retain capable female operators in the Rescue Water Craft space, arming them with the tools they need to broaden their experience and build their confidence.

It's the third year of the program and numbers continue to grow. We can't wait to see all of you on the water, keeping our coastline safe this summer! Well done, ladies!
