SharePoint Developer - 6 Month Fixed Term

Reporting and working closely with the Corporate Services Manager, you will be responsible for collaborating with an internal team to help define business problems and deliver top quality solution designs to address and solve business problems using SharePoint Online.

Surf Life Saving NSW is the state’s primary water safety and rescue organisation and one of the largest volunteer movements in the country. We support more than 76,000 members in 129 clubs to serve the community through the provision of beach patrol services, coastal emergency response, training and education, sports and junior development.

Some of the duties will include
  • Business Analysis: engage with business stakeholders to define, collate and analyse business requirements
  • SharePoint Solution Design: identify and develop applications to assist with solutions for business problems.
Essential experience required
  • Minimum of 3 years technical experience in implementing and designing solutions for SharePoint Online
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Technologies, Office 365, SharePoint Online, Forms, Flow and JavaScript technologies such as jQuery
  • Good web front end skills (HTML5, CSS)
  • Proven analysis skills with the ability to work with a client to understand requirements, define an appropriate solution and implement delivery of solution
  • Strong capability to work across a board range of Microsoft products, with the ability to translate business needs
  • Consulting skills including requirements gathering, specification documentation, risk assessments, change management, software development and quality assurance.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Experience with using Trello
  • Understanding of not for profit organisations
  • Understanding of Surf Life Saving in New South Wales
  • Agile Project Management experience.

Position: 6 Month Fixed Term
