A rare opportunity has become available for a Senior RTO Compliance Coordinator to join the newly created Learning Project Team at Surf Life Saving NSW.

Surf Life Saving NSW is the state’s primary water safety and rescue organisation and one of the largest volunteer movements in the country. We support more than 76,000 members in 129 clubs to serve the community through the provision of beach patrol services, coastal emergency response, training and education, sports and junior development.

About your new role

You’re enthusiastic, passionate, self-motivated, innovative, process driven and solutions focused, your industry experience coupled with comprehensive understanding of RTO/VET requirements and your ability to be forward thinking in a fast-paced environment will be key to your success in this role.

Some of the key duties will include
  • Deliver quality assurance related initiatives including undertaking internal process audits
  • Develop and implement a robust resource management framework.
  • Implement a validation schedule ensuring all training products on scope are validated within the review cycle.
  • Coordinate and oversee the delivery of special learning projects and initiatives.
What you’ll need
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Experience in quality management gained from an RTO/VET related environment
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment as well as operating autonomously;
  • Confidence to liaise with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders;
  • Ability to demonstrate attention to detail and structured approach to delivering project outcomes;
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and multi task.
