NSW Surf Life Saving Championships proudly supported by Your local Club returns to Blacksmiths Beach for 2019.

The State’s premier surf event has been held at Swansea Belmont on ten occasions most recently in 2018.

The event attracts around 6,000 competitors from all over NSW, along with 600 volunteer officials and up to 15,000 family and spectators.

  • 23 - 24 February: Lifesaving Events (Champion Lifesaver Patrol Competition)
  • 1 - 3 March: Age Championships (U9 - U14) Open First Aid Events
  • 6 - 7 March: Masters Championships (Masters Boats on Friday 8 March)
  • 8 - 10 March: Open Championships (U15 - Open)

Inclusive Events For 2019 Age Champs!

SLSNSW is committed to the inclusion of people of all abilities, and will stage for the first time at the 2019 Age Champs inclusive surf, board, sprint and flags events! New B-Division For 2019 State Champs!

Did you know this year there is a B-division for 20-29 year olds? That means you don’t have to be an elite athlete or iron person to come and hang out at State Champs! More information and details on how to enter are available in the Entry Circular.
