Are you goal and results driven? We are looking for a motivated individual to join our friendly sales team in a highly respected and well established Registered Training Organisation (RTO).

The Australian Lifesaving Academy NSW (ALA NSW) is the professional First Aid Training arm of Surf Life Saving NSW and is one of the fastest growing providers of accredited First Aid Training in NSW. The ALA NSW delivers Nationally Recognised First Aid Training to thousands of people every year.

As our Academy Business Officer you will develop rapport with new and existing clients to identify and maximise sales opportunities for First Aid Training and equipment across NSW and ACT.

The person we seek will be able to demonstrate a confident and positive attitude. You will possess great interpersonal skills which will add value, build customer loyalty and increase sales.

Key responsibilities
  • Develop new business sales opportunities and provide excellent after sales support
  • Maintain and grow existing client accounts in various industry markets
  • Achieve set sale targets and objectives
  • Undertake administrative work as required
Essential skills required
  • High level of customer service delivery and an understanding of customer needs – our sales team pride themselves on delivering professional, helpful, high quality service and assistance before, during, and after the customer's requirements are met
  • Excellent phone manner and writing skills – including but not limited to responding to general enquiries via email and phone whilst demonstrating attention to detail and time management skills
  • Strong relationship building skills – developing new business opportunities and strengthening existing relationships
  • Self-motivated and driven by success –  demonstrated ability to exceed targets and KPIs

Location: Surf Life Saving NSW Headquarters – Belrose

Position: Full time (Mon to Fri 8:30am - 5pm)
